★ Foreword:
China&rsquos medical market contains huge development potential with a size of about US$1.2 billion. It is predicted that it will reach above US$1.7 billion in 2009. China has now become the third largest medical market in the world, next to the U.S. and Japan, with a total market value of RMB50 billion yuan. According to statistics, the investment of the Chinese government upon medical equipments is growing at an annual growth rate of 13%. In the next three years, the annual growth rate of the Chinese medical market is expected to exceed 10%. Now it has surpassed Germany, and in 6-8 years&rsquo time it will surpass Japan and become the second largest medical market around the world.
It is revealed by relevant sources from authorities that, during 2008-2009, Shanghai health system will invest RMB4 billion yuan in construction, of which medical apparatus and equipments constitute a part. Together with yearly normal purchase by Shanghai medical and health system, it is predicted to reach RMB 1.8 billion yuan. Shanghai, in its leading position in the medical industry, will also attract the purchasing power of other six provinces in East China, and it is predicted to exceed RMB6 billion in 2009.
In order to promote the scientific application and modernization of medical equipments, to ensure people&rsquos health, to accelerate the development of our medical and health undertakings, and to build a platform of communication and exchange for medical equipment manufacturers and users, &ldquoThe 5th China (Shanghai) International Medical Apparatus Exhibition 2009&rdquo jointly sponsored by Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Shanghai International Advertising & Exhibition Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Kuozhan Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. will be solemnly held at Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center on March 2-4, 2009. ★ Scope of Exhibits:
? Medical Apparatus: various new-type medical instruments and auxiliary medical apparatus and equipment, heart monitoring equipment, medical photographic equipment, biochemical lab equipment and home-use medical devices such as blood-pressure meters, thermometers, etc.
? Diagnosis and therapy equipment: X-ray diagnosis and inspection equipment, ultrasonic diagnosis equipment, nuclear medical equipment, endoscope system, five facial organs therapy instruments, crymotherapy equipment, dialysis therapy equipment, first-aid devices, disposable consumables, etc.
? Sterile ward in hospital, ward monitoring system, various patient beds, operation chairs and beds, medical vehicles, stretchers, etc.
? Auxiliary equipment: sterilization series products, oxygen-making and oxygen-supply equipment, blood bank facility, medical data and image processing equipment, rehabilitation apparatus, special apparatus for the disabled, etc.
? Oral cavity medical apparatus: dental diagnosis and therapy equipment, dental operation apparatus, dental technician equipment.
? Hospital distant medical system, hospital medical information system, hospital office automated system.
? Sports therapy and healthcare articles, etc.

★ Participation Fees:
? Standard Booths: 9 sq. m. (3m × 3m)
? Domestic enterprises: RMB11800/Booth
? Overseas enterprises: USD3,800/Booth
Each standard booth consists of a show area, 2.5m high partitions, 1 negotiation table, 2 chairs, booth lighting, carpet, and fascia board.
? Indoor Raw Space: (Minimum 36 sq. m.)
? Domestic enterprises: RMB 1,200/Sq.m.
? Overseas enterprises: USD 380/Sq.m.
The raw space fee consists of a show area, carpet, security and booth cleaning service.
Exhibition service fee: Each attendee is charged RMB500yuan for exhibition material, exhibitor&rsquos badge, lunches, drinks and souvenirs, etc.

★ Participation Procedures:
☆ Please fill out the Application Form carefully with the signature of the person in
charge and official seal, then submit it by mail or fax to the Organizing Committee.
☆ After confirmation by the Organizing Committee, the exhibitor shall remit the
participation fee to the Organizing Committee according to regulations.
☆ Upon receipt of the participation fee, the Organizing Committee will allocate booths on the basis of exhibition principle, send the Exhibitor&rsquos Regulations and notify the relevant arrangements.
☆ Please read the Exhibitor&rsquos Regulations carefully. The allocation of booths is
based on the principle of &ldquofirst-come-first-served&rdquo in terms of application and payment.

★ Payment Regulations:
☆ Please make the fees payable 50% as deposit to the Organizing Committee within 7 days after application. A 20 % surcharge will be levied for reservation of booths with 2 facades.
☆ If the exhibitor fails to effect the payment within 7 days, the Organizing Committee shall not reserve the booth.
☆ The balance of the fees shall be settled before February10, 2009. Otherwise, the Organizing Committee will deem the exhibitor waiving the reservation.
☆ The exhibitor shall make a lump sum of payment afterFebruary10, 2009.

★ Advertising in the Show Catalogue:
On top of being widely distributed to the industrial authorities and related associations, exhibitors and visitors during the exhibition, the Show Catalogue will be distributed through the network of the Organizing Committee to the industrial systems and relevant distributors or dealers nationwide.
